6 hours later and the gif for the Harsh Realms movie teaser page is finished. Mix of original photographs, data bending, stills from Hype! And Charles Peterson’s photography. Give me a few more hours and those links (which need new names) will play a mix tape and the ‘about’ text won’t be so rubbish, I can’t cope with any more 90’s ‘slang’ yet..
If I’d have figured out how to do this two weeks ago, I think I’d be a much happier/less panicky person now..
Gems from today. Got some feedback on the old photos and one of my tutors thought that the more spontaneous ones were better. So, I went back today and as we were talking/doing whatever I took the photos when she wasn’t expecting it and they turned out like this. Generally more interesting. These are some of my favourites.
Change of plan with the film brief, the name is now Harsh Realms. Been watching Pauly Shore and MTV videos with Mzngr today and now I’m working on a new identity. Making the most of being able to use naff looking grunge-y type and noise filters but I really need to draw something by hand..

Ignore w/e vinyl this is, and try to see past the stupid kink in the top left of the heart. Is this possible? Can you laser cut vinyl?
